When people ask me what I do for living, I love being able to respond with “I travel.” You can imagine the responses I get, from the older generation to my own.. I always get interesting questions. From “That’s not making a living.” to “How?! I would love to do that, but it’s not very realistic.”
I don’t know why there is so much judgment behind my life choice. I do know that is very possible to make a living from it though. It may not be a huge income, but I’m surviving and living my life fully every day. My life is not perfect and it is a constant battle to stick to the common comforts that the average American believes in. Who’s to say that the American dream is to get an average job and the biggest house you can afford and to have all of these loans out that you will have to pay off for the rest of your life.
I’d like to think that there is much more to this blessed life that we get to live in this country. Why not take advantage of the day to day and make something of it. Something that’s bigger than the common life. With these kind of responsibility comes a huge learning curve of dealing with finances, health, and relationships. So here is my small input into this undeveloped adventure.
